Kells Karate Academy is striving to be proactive in helping to reduce the spread of Covid-19. As such, we have created the following procedures and protocols to promote the health and safety of our members, staff and community. This is a developing situation so please watch for updated information as the procedures are subject to change.

General Procedures

• All common areas will remain closed until further notice. This includes the lobby, water fountain, and restrooms (available only for emergencies). Only the training floor will remain open at this time. (Restroom is available to campers and will be cleaned before and after camp every day.)

• Social distancing measures will be implemented at all times while inside the school. This means members and staff will be asked to remain 6 feet apart at all times.

• Please come to class in a newly washed gi and bring your own water bottle. Please wear either sandals or crocs. Please refrain from bringing any other personal items into the school with you. Campers will be required to bring all items in a single bag to be kept within their training square. Lunch will be eaten within their square or outdoors if the weather permits. Campers should wear their swimsuit under their clothes.

• Masks/face coverings that cover your mouth and nose are required to be worn at all times within the dojo except within your 6 ft training square.
